Have you ever stopped to think that there are thousands of people who are members of organizations, and they have no idea why they meet? Many people do things out of sheer habit. The only problem is that there are so many demands on our lives that it is difficult to do everything that we have slated. So what happens when you don't have time? You cut things out. It is often the events that have no purpose for you in your life that you cut out first. Many people do this with the church. They have no idea why they meet each week and begin to stay home when they don't feel like going, or when the weather is bad, etc. How might understanding the mission of the church, its purpose for existing, change the way you view the church.
